bridge The Encounter of the People of Austria with US Soldiers after World War II
An Austrian-American Dialogue

We are seeking information on family members lost during WWII. The family name was probably spelled something like Von Gorrjup.

They were located in southern Austria near northern Italy in the 1910 to 1920 time frame. We believe the closest town would have been Treste. It was difficult to get information from my husbands grandfather due to a failing mind and an ingrained fear of Mussolini. (He just kept saying Italians have long memories.)
