"25,000 Erasers...US Aid for Austrian School Children"

"Since the end of the war, Austrian children have received aid shipments valued at over $200,000 from American school relief agencies. Furthermore, foodstuffs and toilet articles with a value of $16,500 are being readied for shipment to the Austrian Red Cross youth group. This latest donation includes, among other things, 10,000 boxes of crayons, 25,000 erasers, 100,000 boxes of toilet soap, 2000 first-aid kits, 1000 pens and an assortment of mimeograph equipment."
